New Lost Huskies posters

Anyone have any feeling about the new "Lost Huskies" posters on Hastings poles? I was the one who called the listed number when posters went up last summer. Poster said the dogs went missing on "the Hastings trail" and I pointed out that we have many trails. Asked where exactly did the dogs vanish? Got the feeling that these were not Hastings dogowners and they were not very familiar with the area. Huskies are known roamers--to take them untagged and unmicrochipped to a strange area is risky. Rowley's Bridge Trail Ramble

Haven Colgate once again did a stellar job channeling Fred Hubbard for the annual walk on Rowley's Bridge Trail on Sept. 26 as part of the regional Hudson River Valley Ramble. Haven not only kept the presentation lively but also added some old-fashioned interactivity by handing out laminated cards that contained photos of some of the flora. Timber Z and Shane-D have been seen this week Aug 16th

Shane was seen in the upper Villard area of Hastings around 1:30P on Monday, Aug. 17



TimberZ was seen in the morning Tuesday, Aug 18 around Ravensdale, Rosedale and Nicholas Dr close to 9A, Hastings Bridge connecting Yonkers to Hastings and Mount Hope Cem. TimberZ was said to be going South but, we believe it may have West. TimberZ knows this area as he goes with his Playpen associate to Central Avenue to Pet Goods and is regular there.
